Nissan Offering Cars With Self-Repairing Paint (Repairs Scratches Itself)
<snip>

NISSAN claims its new car paint can repair its own scratches and scrapes.

The coating contains elastic resin and its rubbery surface can bounce back to repair itself of slight scratches caused by car-washing, off-road driving and fingernails, the company says.

The coat lasts about three years, the company said, and costs a few hundred dollars extra.

3. True story - the moral of this story is hide your touch up paint
Edited on Tue Dec-06-05 08:30 AM by DanCa
When I was ten I wanted to do something nice for my mom and wash her white lebaron car. Any how I cleanned and polished and waxed still there was no problem I was going into the house when I saw a can of spray paint called "Touch up paint" make your car look like new.

Well being a good boy who wanted to make his mom happy i shook the can covered the white trunk with black spray paint and it took me an hour of scrubbing before I realized what i did. Oh the moral of the story no good deed ever goes unpunished. It still hurts when I sit.
