Okay, there's some back story here. I met this guy at a political seminar several months ago. Intelligent, funny, cute and great to talk with, and seems VERY single. Anyway, I'm talking to the girlfriends about him; one of them says she really wants to meet him.

I write him an e-mail inquiring to his status. He's living with someone. Oh, well. He's still the greatest. I hope he doesn't think I'm a dork. :blush:

In the meantime, I feel a bit, shall we say, chagrined? Wait till I have to go back to one of our friends and tell her that nope, Mr. Maybe is definitely taken...
