WOW! Christmas Came Early For Me!!!

I just talked to ASCAP (American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers) They pay out royalties to musicians. Apparently they did not have my current address on file and couldn't pay me. I had no idea I was earning anything. So I submitted a change of address notification and need to send in a written request for my funds and it will be sent out in a few weeks. I inquired "so how much is owed to me?"

OVER $3000.00!!! THAT'S THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!

I am so getting drunk tonight!

Of course I'll have to sit on it for a while since I've never had to pay taxes on extra income before so I have to figure out how to file that. It feels really good like years of hard work finally paid off!
