As to hardware stores I don't like them at all. Unlike other types of stores I can't navigate them well so I get frustrated. I'm also not really into hardware so that's a big part of it.

Then the control arms clunking

Now my car won't even start. I was going to get the control arms replaced for free under recall, but now I can't start my car to get it over to the dealership.

56. S'ok, I ran it through the CPU tonight and found out why it won't start

Bad camshaft position sensor. I'm going to clean it out tomorrow and see if it works.

If it doesn't, it's an easy DIY job. The problem is ordering the parts. It'll run me about $80 if I buy it new. Of course, I could just pick one up at a junkyard for half that price.

The wheel bearing is what is going to cost me. It's about $50 to buy, but I can't put it on myself. I need a press. The labor on that might cost me quite a bit.

And of course, grad school has me broke as a joke right now. :-(

In fact, my degree will officially be in Industrial/Organizational psychology. The industrial side focuses more on personnel testing and such. I am more interested in the industrial side.

I want to consult when I am done. I'm going to make it a point to finish up my PhD in two more years if I make it in to the program. My advisor laughed at me when I said that, but now because he laughed at me, I'm going to do it just to bug him. :-)

My week has been excellent. I watched every episode of Twin Peaks for the millionth time, made some new art (a portrait of a friend of mine and the second part of my photomontage series) and I am now working on my last assignment of the semester, which is due tomorrow. After that I have a 10 day break until finals, then I get to go home for the holidays. I'm quite excited.

I attended my first Dave Matthews Band concert last night! My sister who lives in the South Plains of TX, alerted me to getting tix; she flew up here and we went last night. His band was awesome. They played nearly 3 hours as the crowd was really into the music.

It's interesting how a college town and the younger ones continue to love his music. I knew so little about him, other than watching him live on TV a couple of times. I have a couple of DMB CD's, but I contend DMB is better live than on CD. What I liked most about the concert is that if one likes R $ R, jazz, zydeco, old southern fried rock and South African beats/vocals, you can listen to the best of all of those genres, not have to know the lyrics, and just dance with your legs, even sitting down as I did (I have a knee injury).
