Do you care if it's a white Christmas?
Does that actually make a difference with you? I could care less, actually.

8. I agree with kick-ass-bob here...
I've never seen one either, nor do I care to.

3. actually yes ..
It wouldn't seem like christmas day without snow. The rest of the winter can be 80 degrees and sunshine, but the 25th, well it just has to snow :)

:hi:

7. If I'm supposed to drive to Madison, have brunch with the BF, his daughter
AND his ex and ex's BF, and then drive back...I don't care if it's a white Christmas. It just better not be snowing.

If I don't (and that's still up in the air, depending on whether BF's ex gets a new job where she might have to work Christmas), then I don't care whether it's raining, snowing or doing nothing, as there is a movie theater and Chinese restaurant within an easy walk of my place.

9. Yes, but it isn't likely.
It shouldn't make a difference to me, but it does. The Christmases of my childhood were always white. I remember my aunt and uncle and gramma and grampa coming into the house, cheeks red with cold, my uncle smiling from ear to ear (he loves winter!), all of them stamping snow off their boots. I remember running around outside on Christmas Eve, making snowmen and snow angels and waiting for dinner to be served.

I keep up our old family Christmas traditions (as well as a few new ones) not only because I enjoy them, but because they bring the comfort of happy memories.

That's why I like snow on Christmas. Ithas the same feel as an old tradition. This is our sixth Christmas here, and not a one of them has been white yet. It could happen, though. It's already snowed three times this year. None of it has stuck, but it could. If not, maybe we'll drive up into the mountains and stay overnight in McCall or something so the kids can play in the snow.

11. It really would be nice to have a white Xmas.
But here in North Georgia, it is a rarity. I moved here in 1989 and only remember one white Xmas.

13. Not anymore.
It meant all the world to me when I was a kid, but when you are a licensed driver, all bets are off.

14. You live in the city Terry......
It's really not an issue, is it?

I mean, if it snows enough to provide a nice fresh coating the white stuff...by the time it hits the streets, it turns to gray slush.

If it were to snow a lot where you live, it would really muck things up.

But out here in the 'burbs, a nice fresh coat on Christmas morning is great.
