Who did NOT go shopping today......
I sure as hell did not, we are doing all of our Christmas shopping this year online and are about done. Much less stressful and kinda fun. I did not venture near a store today, instead, I plowed my garden to begin getting it ready for the spring.

6. Closest I came
Was ordering a magazine subscription by mail. The Nation. My dad insists on it as his Christmas present. Of course I always throw in a surprise under the tree but he always forgets about that and raves about The Nation all year. Hey Katrina (not the hurricane), get my dad's gift card there in time, for once.

13. Except for essential groceries
at the local store, there will be no shopping at malls or stores here until the end of January. I may order some things online. But then again, I may not.

18. I didn't.
I didn't venture outside the house except to go the the gym.

My dad and brother went to Dusty Strings to look at guitars. They said it wasn't very crowded.

20. Surely you jest.
It's way too crazy, plus I never shop before Dec 21st and never during regular store hours.I wait until they are either open all night,or at least until 12:00.

22. Didn't go yesterday, not planning on going today.
Instead of "buy nothing day," I'm doing "buy nothing" week...perhaps fortnight. I'm pissed because the fascists are still in charge: when things start to change, I'll start spending again.

23. I'm always broke on Black Friday--this time, it was $350 for my car!

There goes my charitable giving for this holiday season, LOL. I hate expenses like that... and thinking of what I could have bought with it. New shoes, a printer, some money for Habitat for Humanity....sigh.

But my car will stop and it will run. So there's that.
