Newbie with a "technical" question....

Hi everybody - wondering if there is a quick way to find out when someone replies to your posts. Learning how to navigate around here, and haven't been able to figure that one out! Many thanks for any help:)

that prompted my finally emerging from lurkdom. I have 2 furry babies, 10 year-old brother and sister littermates named Sisko and Janeway. That should also give folks a clue to one of my other interests ;-)

31. No doubt about it! We went through

a whole list of Trek name combos and these seemed to fit perfectly. Sisko is an all-black male, very soft "spoken", but headstrong in his own way. Janeway is a calico with lots of auburn in her coat - very bold and always the first one into trouble. Also VERY vocal!

I'm guessing that Call Me Wesley is derived from our pal Mr Crusher - I'll ask for details!

33. The origins of a loathesome username:

A couple of months ago, I sold two huge paintings in advance of an exhibit, and when I told my husband, he gave me a hug and a kiss and said, "Good job, Ensign Crusher!" (He loathes Crusher, but was being a smarty-pants.) Since then, "Call Me Wesley" has become a goofy euphemism for "Praise me." When I was registering his username at DU, the name Wesley was taken, so I registered him as Call Me Wesley. :evilgrin:

36. We've been in CT about 15 years, and previously

lived in MA - about 7 years living south of Boston. Grew up in New Bedford when the family wasn't travelling with Dad (career military). The only thing I'd like better is if the winters weren't quite so cold, but I do enjoy the fact that we have 4 distinct seasons.
