U2 owned my beloved Stones last night
It was the best concert I've ever been too. I was 30 feet away from the stage on the left hand side. Over 21,000 people gettin into it. Here's an idea of just how packed it was. The venue(St. Pete Times Forum) was built for 20k people. The attendance for the Stones was 18,364 and they were callin it sold out. Last night there was 21,350 people there.

All in all a great show. All 4 musicians looked like they were having a blast. Bono was inspirational as always. When he talked about this generation being able to end extreme poverty, you believe him.

It was a night not soon forgotten. Even if Bono did make Mick Jagger his bitch

2. funny thing..
after they did "Bullet the Blue Sky", there were chants of "Support the Truth, Not the War" and one guy even shouted out "Fuck George Bush". Another lady even shouted out "Bono for President"

Heck, I'd vote for him

3. Seriously
He's amazing. I realize he's an egomaniac, but fuck, he does a LOT of god.

4. absolutely
most socially conscious celebs have huge egos(Michael Moore anybody?), but it doesn't take away the fact that they do alot of good.

Out of all celebrity activists, Bono is the one I most respect and believe isn't doin it just to be in the spotlight
