IMPORTANT: CAN YOU DIE FROM A BURST APPENDIX?!
I just got an email from my science teachers aid stating that the poor guy was put into the hospital with a burst appendix.

Can you die from that? He's a really great teacher. Loads of fun in his class.

I was just wondering, is it fatal?

3. It was usually fatal before penicillin
My great-grandma's sister told me when she was fourteen her appendix burst causing her to be in a coma for 3 months. Soon after she got out of the hospital antibiotics were discovered and since then most people recover pretty well.

5. ohhhh..poor guy
That happened to my Bil a very long time ago. He was in the hospital for a few days and recovered for several weeks at home.

I'm betting he'll be fine, it'll just take some time.

they have good meds for it and they treat it very aggressively. Bet he'll be fine. Think good thoughts.
