1. Ugh...Don't do it Wetzelbill!
It won't satisfy you...you'll just get all bloated and belch fast-food-flavored gas all night.

If you need something quick, go to your grocery store and make yourself a nice salad and a cup of soup. Or a sandwich from the deli. Just don't punish yourself with greaseburgers, my friend! :hi:

2. I'm seriously starting to hate drive-thrus.

Twice in the last two months I've eaten hamburgers at Jack In the Box and Carl's, and both times, I've felt like puking the entire day. :puke:

And then Carl's pisses me off with their whole "dumb guys cant cook" persona they've put in their commercials. :grr:

4. I never cook, but I don't eat fast food
How do I survive? Mainly by going to the deli at my neighborhood co-op. Lots of good stuff, much of it vegetarian, almost all of it organic/natural, and all of it DELICIOUS. Just take it home, microwave it, and you've got dinner.

If you have a co-op in your area, do yourself a favor and JOIN. Most are pretty affordable, the food is top-notch, and you get the satisfaction of supporting a small cooperative enterprize.

5. Don't get fast food.
I'm sure there's something quick in the house that you can cook up.

9. There's healthier fast food
Salads, especially with low calorie dressing, are usually a safe bet. Grilled chicken is another low calorie choice. Roast beef sandwich, subs, or a small burger isn't all that bad either. Just stay away from french fries, onion rings, shakes, large burgers, and multiple pieces of cheese and bacon.
You could also stock your house with easy to heat up options. I like several different varieties of Campbell's Chunky soup, for example.

11. I don't cook anything that I can't zap in my microwave
or cook in the oven or broiler. I don't have a dishwasher, so only cook food that can be microwaved or cooked on aluminum foil in the oven or broiler.

12. Buy frozen food from Schwans
they deliver every other week and while they are pricey it is cheaper than take out and just as easy to nuke. Good quality.

16. If you live anywhere near a Popeye's Chicken
Their "Naked Chicken Strips" are friggin' spot on. 1 carb per strip and otherwise just a dry rubbed chicken tenderloin cooked in a deep fat fryer.
