Lamest. Halloween. Ever.
I got 6 trick or treaters. Last year I had 60.

What am I going to do with the candy?

28. My aliens are weird.
But they don't always know what is good for them. I probably won't give them the candy.

But what if candy is poisonous to them? I'd hate to introduce a toxin to them that would kill them all.

:o

3. I'm in the same boat...
...my penny pinching hubby bought a 90 piece bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and a 95 piece assorted Cadbury's candy box.

I'm pregnant, with no self control and he's leaving this stuff around?

Haven's help me!

7. I went to my sisters, and she had a hay ride come through the neighborhood
Some guy hitched a trailer to a big truck, and put hay and 30 kids on the trailer, which I didn't think was exactly safe.

9. As a parent of trick or treaters.. we never know what houses to go to
We only go to the ones with the front porch lights on.. and even then we still hit two houses that weren't expecting us.

24. I got one
more than I get some years though. Very adulty neighbourhood, I am on a hill and there aren't very many doors on my street. Plus it was raining.

And I knew the one was coming. His mom asked me if I was getting candy. I gave him 3 milky ways. I should have given him 6.

I ran out of candy around 7:45, and there were still tons of kids coming up and down the street.

26. We had a bunch.
But about 10 years ago, we used to get 100-200 kids. People from the rural areas would drop their kids off in our neighborhood because they could go house to house and get candy.

The weirdest thing I ever saw were the parents who were trick or treating with a newborn. :wtf:

29. That struck me as very sad and reminded me of something.
Edited on Tue Nov-01-05 07:11 AM by OhioBlues
I used to live on the border and kids from Mexico would come over to the US side trick or treating. Their costumes were not really costumes and their little eyes were so expectant. It still makes me feel sad thinking of it. Reminds me how much I take for granted sometimes...

Edit: caps
