It's a girl!!! She's beautiful!!!

My wife gave birth to our first born yesterday, a girl! Bethany Marie was born at 5:27 pm and weighed 6 pounds five ounces. The labor went smoothly and we are overjoyed.

My only regret is that Fitzgerald didn't down the indictments before she was born so that she could recall when asked, Bush was still in office when she was born, BUT he'd already been indicted. ;)

Sometimes people say newborns are beautiful when they're really not; let's face it, some babies come out squished and swollen and red, etc.

But your daughter is truly gorgeous!

so her head followed her body through, instead of bore down through her pelvis, and thus probably didn't get all squished around as babie's head's do that normally come out vertex.

You have to find a doctor that is willing to do them, but we did. Bethany was his fourth breech delivery this year, all successful. The key is, you have to know how to use gravity as a helper.

Cherish every minute of her babyhood. It goes by very quickly. My only daughter is 12 going on 16, and I wish I could go back and recapture the innocence and wonder of her first several years when everything was new to her.
