2. Here's the run down (It JUST ended on the West Coast)
-Toby confessed to being the leak -He was questioned by White House counsel and was cooperating -His lawyer showed up and put an end to the questioning -The President was told what happened and asked to see Toby -Bartlett said that he was surprised but not really. He knew that Toby had always felt morally superior to everyone especially him. -Toby offered his resignation but the President refused and said that he had to fire him for cause. -The President told Toby that he didn't feel that he had done anything heroic.
-The Santos campaign is struggling and they decide to get rid of about 45 of their young and inexperienced staff -They also demoted Neil who has been with Santos back to the Congressional office -Neil blamed Josh for the problems with the campaign
-There's a problem between Russia and China (over oil) -The US is stuck in the middle
-Will (?) is brought back from the VP's office to be Communications Director
-Ellie (President's daughter) is engaged...and pregnant. They need a quick wedding.
I thought it was a fabulous episode. And can I just say, that scene where Toby told CJ he was the leak? FABULOUS! Richard and Allison ROCK. Practically zero dialogue, but powerful as all hell.
