So, I walk into my office this morning and as I near my desk I feel something WET! I look down only to discover that the water fountain in the office that BACKS up to mine has malfunctioned over the weekend causing wet carpets throughout!

I have just spend the last 30 minutes drying off my computer and phone lines! :mad:

Now it's on to trying to SALVAGE files that were on the floor! :mad: :nuke:

1. I got the blues i got the blues

I got the i can't go outside cant go to the work talk to people cause am on disablity and i have a painful 10 ;30 physical therapy session blues.

2. Mine doesn't quite compare, but

today my office is doing a home-cooked lunch for the bosses of the office (Boss's Day). Which if you are a man, you are considered a boss (seriously!! :mad:). I was supposed to bring a pie and I forgot ALL about it. Oh well! I am not too concerned. I hate when we do this in my office b/c all the WOMEN cook or bring something for the MEN. I am self-employed, so I am really my own boss. I do work for someone specific but I hate how sexist this damn office is!! Screw this Monday!

6. You know what I REALLY hate?

I hate it when the all the PARENTS in here want you to buy stupid crap out of Charlies gift catalog to benefit his band trip.....

There is only so much cheap wrapping paper you can buy! :mad:

I end up buying useless crap all year long because I don't wanna offend Suzie's MOM!

19. Oh yeah! I've already bought 2 rolls of wrapping paper,

3. not as bad as some blues but

basement of our office was flooded over the weekend and the lower cardboard boxes of previous years records are soaked and stephanie miller is not on the radio this am as the station has gone to oldies it looks like.

on a positive note, i have leftover pizza (meatlovers deluxe) for lunch.

I have just put a big pile in front of my small desk top fan, hopefully that will help dry them up.

The smell is starting to make me headachy.... damn.

after a long weekend at home with my parents and 6 year old nephew. I'd much rather be with the little guy having light saber fights in the yard than here in the office trying to force myself to do work. Blech.

I used to LOVE it!

But after seeing those sniveling millionaire players whining, it kinda turned me off. Although I have been getting pieces here and there on the series.
