Berklee College of Music in Boston is helping New Orleans musicians

They have put aside $50 grand to bring musicians up to work with the college's students. They are also offering assistance to any music students displaced by the storm to come to Berklee to study. They will hold a Mardi Gras style parade to raise money for the victims. Pretty cool, that. My son just emailed that the welcome BBQ held today featured a Dixieland jazz band. I am loving all the different ways people are finding to bring relief to our fellow Americans. (And their pets!)
