I don't know if this applies to you, but I read something the other day about diet and hair loss. When a man drops his caloric intake below 1000 calories a day he will start losing his hair. I'm sure it would be the same for women, but just with a lower calorie number. Probably something like 800 calories.

I know for a fact that this is true because my mom has battled anorexia on 2 separate occasions and she has complained of her hair falling out both times.
