Movies that you thought would suck but didn't really suck
You know what I'm talking about. They look ridiculous, poorly made, and stupid, but when you actually sat down to watch them you're actually entertained and pleased.

My vote: Cool Runnings

John Candy was awesome in this and despite its overt cheesiness and moralizing, it IS an entertianing story (I swear!).

3. The Pacifier
I wasn't really looking forward to renting it, but there was nothing else available.

I enjoyed it enough to watch it twice before returning it.

18. I got the last copy
Out of approx. 20 copies the store had.

And when I brought it back, there were no copies to rent and they had a waiting list for it.

19. I thought so too
I thought it would be like watching Arnold or Stallone do comedy.

But Diesel can actually pull it off. He can even show a tender side convincingly.

22. And he was dripping wet
But since I'm a guy, I thought it distracted from the rest of the movie. :)

He did get to beat up a bunch of people, and blow up a bunch of stuff, so I was entertained.

12. School of Rock was great
I kind of expected it to be though because I waited until I heard a bunch of rave reviews from people before seeing it.
