I'm just repeating what they say...

It's some kind of herb that people in South Africa take to stave off hunger. They claim it's been covered on 60 Minutes, but for all we know, that means 60 Minutes said it was full of hot air.

I must admit it's made me curious. There are certainly things that will curb your appetite, but most of them are bad for you.

I never believe snake-oil food supplement claims. (Eating grapefruits will burn fat? Give me a break.) But if anyone has experience about it, I'd love to hear.

The Bushmen and the Diet Pill. The 60 Minutes piece showed that this herb works to suppress appetite.

3. Now you've really got me curious

Have you tried it, or do you know anyone who has? Even if it works, if it's a stimulant, it could still be bad for you. Phen-fen sure worked. I work at a hospital, and we had two deaths in younger people because of that stuff.
