Klan Offers Reward In Cross Burning Case

DURHAM, N.C. -- The reward fund for information leading to the arrest of suspects in three cross burnings in Durham last month is getting a donation from an unlikely source -- the Ku Klux Klan.

Although fliers with pro-Klan and anti-gang statements were found at the site of one of the May 25 cross burnings, Klan officials have said the white supremacist group wasn't involved in the incidents. The group said it would provide $100 to anyone who provides authorities with information leading to an arrest.
