While the White Stripes merely rock. While not the White Stripes, the best album last year was "Van Lear Rose". Would any of those weeping ninnies in coldplay even talk to Loretta Lynn?

The White Stripes are good, but they could be so much better if they replaced their drummer. I'm not a music snob, and I normally don't even notice those kinds of things, but often the drumming sounds like the energizer bunny to me.

Coldplay leaves me....well....cold. They're an ok band with a bloated rep.

The Stripes are one of the best bands out there right now, period. They take chances, they're truly weird and creative, and they have a cool concept.
