I've just watched the Sponge Bob Movie - ask me anything

I saw that movie with my nephews. I really liked the beginning with the pirates. Oh and Hasselhoff.

I was very shocked at how emotional it was (when compared with the T.V. episodes). Thank goodness that they managed to save Bikini Bottom in the end.

9. It has emotion, it has drama, it has gratuitous violence, it has romance

it has salacious nudity, it has pointless glam-rock, it has a pointless appearance of David Hasselhoff.....

In fact the only possible thing missing was narcotics abuse. For managing to take diddy wee short episodes and build them into a full-scale feature film I have to mark it very highly indeed. Overall I think that it gets 9 (and this from me, a very stingy marker).
