You may not even remember who I am, but I have to tell you that I have read a number of your posts and I think there are a lot of people (me included) who are better off for your existence. I always enjoy your music posts (you've even made me reconsider my opinion of AC/DC!) and your posts about this horrible thing we call life always speak to me.

In a number of ways I can relate to a lot of what you're going through right now. Hell, I'm so out of it all- I feel like I gave up on women long ago (meaning, I don't actively try to pursue them; not that I wouldn't try again if one I liked seemed interested) and feel like the older I get the less of a clue I have about why we exist. I just figure we're here on Earth for whatever reason, and we all have at least one person, two people, a handful of people, many people, whatever... who would be torn up if we didn't exist, so we might as well try to make the most of the life we have. Or just make something of it at all. Hard as it can be to deal with the massive amounts of shit that seem to get thrown our way, sometimes for absolutely no reason at all.
