1. How is (are) that pot(s)?
I have the same dealer. I just bought some socks there yesterday.

2. I bought the Blacklite for the light weight

The aluminum distributes heat excellently, so the food does not stick. The coating helps. I have noticed that if you scrape the bottom too much while stirring dinner or cleaning the pot, the "teflon" type coating scrapes off in tiny flakes. I have lost some coating, but it still works well (the food does not stick). My advice when cleaning is to let it soak in sudsy water for at least 5 minutes before cleaning, and the food will come right off.

The 2 liter pot plus lid and lifter only weighs 10 ounces. You can barely do better than that with a titanium pot, and it will cost a lot more.

I just returned from backpacking in Canyonlands NP, and I still have a slickrock-hiking high! The pot I took was great!

4. 50 lbs of pot is all you need for a scubadiving trip
and about 20 lbs of white powder as packing material. Presently being tested at submariner laboratories :)
