2. LOL I just realized that Sinatra was like "really pushing the envelope"
for our grandparents.

Wow...what a nasty guy, that Sinatra.

8. I'm just drunk and messing around.
Don't mind me. Sorry man. :)

I just find it entertaining that Sinatra was considered kind of on the edge back in the day.

10. I suspected that you were only playing with me, but this is the lounge . .
If you listen to the Sinatra/Basie album you might be surprised. He was considered cutting edge because, before he became a caricature he was very good. Sometimes it's important to go back to the source and find out why icons like Sinatra and Elvis were important, rather than assuming they were merely the one dimensional figures they both ended up as.

:hi:

5. It Was A Very Good Year.....
....
When I was seventeen
It was a very good year
It was a very good year for small town girls
And soft summer nights
We’d hide from the lights
On the village green
When I was seventeen

When I was twenty-one
It was a very good year
It was a very good year for city girls
Who lived up the stair
With all that perfumed hair
And it came undone
When I was twenty-one

When I was thirty-five
It was a very good year
It was a very good year for blue-blooded girls
Of independent means
We’d ride in limousines
Their chauffeurs would drive
When I was thirty-five

But now the days grow short
I’m in the autumn of the year
And now I think of my life as vintage wine
>from fine old kegs
>from the brim to the dregs
And it poured sweet and clear
It was a very good year

It was a mess of good years

16. The theme to Married w/Children.... oh wait,
Sony, in order to charge the same price yet cut costs because their CEO thinks he deserves a raise, didn't pay for the theme license and installed generic rubbish instead.

17. "teach me tonight" he has added some hilarious swinging lyrics.......
cause he's such a stud. LOL.

off the wall, the bed, the floor of it.....
whatcha get for lessons?

Frank Sinatra - Teach Me Tonight Lyrics
Writer(s): cahn/de paul

Did you say (that) I?ve got a lot to learn
Well don?t think I?m trying not to learn
Since this is the perfect spot to learn
Teach me tonight

Starting with the abc of it
Getting right down to the xyz of it
Help me solve the mystery of it
Teach me tonight

The sky?s a blackboard high above you
And if a shooting star goes by
I?ll use that star to write "i love you"
A thousand times across the sky

One thing isn?t very clear my love
Teachers shouldn?t stand so near my love
Graduation?s almost here my love
You?d better teach me tonight

I?ve played loves scenes in a flick or two
And I?ve also met a chick or two
But I still can learn a trick or two
Hey teach me tonight

I who thought I knew the score of it
Kind of think I should know much more of it
Off the wall, the bed, the floor of it
Hey teach me tonight

The midnight hours come slowly creeping
When there?s no one there but you
There must be more to life than sleeping
Single in a bed for two

What I need most is post graduate
What I feel is hard to articulate
If you want me to matriculate
You?d better teach me tonight

What do you get for lessons
Teach me - come on and teach me - teach me tonight

18. All the Way

When somebody loves you
It’s no good unless he loves you - all the way
Happy to be near you
When you need someone to cheer you - all the way

Taller than the tallest tree is
That’s how it’s got to feel
Deeper than the deep blue see is
That’s how deep it goes - if it’s real

When somebody needs you
It’s no good unless he needs you - all the way
Through the good or lean years
And for all the in between years - come what may

Who know where the road will lead us
Only a fool would say
But if you’ll let me love you
It’s for sure I’m gonna love you - all the way, all the way
