so there's a burgler loose in my village
three or four houses broken into in the past month or two, several cars broken into. now, most of this activity has been around the block that i live on! :hide: last night one of my neighbors had an incident. i heard a car suspiciously park in front of my house around 2am last night :tinfoilhat:

i live in a very small town. the only reason we lock our front door is so that the wind doesnt blow it open! anybody have words of advice who have been in similar situations?

1. Duct tape and plastic for the windows...
lots of water
canned foods
batteries for the flashlight and radio
do NOT leave your house until the terror threat level has been lowered.

Thank you.

6. Get those alarms that hang on the door handles...
They will go off if the door is opened, they are low tech-high concept, they scare away most thieves. Deeper protection probably is best left to a consultant.
