3. Here you go:
http://www.zero7.co.uk/

I just realized that like, most of my music is from the UK or non-American (minus Springsteen, Moby, Death Cab For Cutie, and a handful of others).
Does America just not foster the musical creativity needed for exceptional music? I think yes.

5. Yes and no
There's a huge amount of great stuff in the US and up here in Canada; I think the thing is to skip commercial music altogethet and look at the bands that go the DIY more than anything else.

I love Death Cab For Cutie; play them all the time n my station.

Thanks for the link!

2. I know Zero 7
I've been a BIG Zero7 head for the last couple of years.

I've got 4 Zero7 CDs

If you like them, try Colour The Small One by Sia and Restless Times by Clara Hill!

4. Good stuff
I had listened to them before seeing Garden State but when I heard them on the Garden State soundtrack I fell in love.

12. no, but the poster who asked the question originally...
...has implied in previous discussions of music that rap or hip hop isn't really music because no instruments are involved; I mentioned common instruments to lay it down that jazz IS music.
