2. I had a huge crush on her when MTV started...
Is she still shilling her "memories" of MTV on college campuses?

4. oh. my. goodness.
I thought I was the only person on earth who remembered that song.

One of the best two days of my life were spent with a former SO, seeing Mojo Nixon and the Toad Liquors TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW at different Nebraska dives: once in a bowling alley and once in a bar. Absolutely wonderful!

18. Yow - from the looks of this thread
you're FAR from the only person on Earth to remember that tune. :hi:

Following Mojo around Nebraska sounds like a great time.

9. I saw and heard Mojo Nixon sing that and many other great songs!
Back in the 90s at the Georgia Theater in Athens, GA. I even have a video of the event! I loved the inflatable sheep on the stage!

25. saw him here in Pittsburgh
wearing a santa hat in August. Oddly enough, he wasn't nearly as good as I expected. He couldn't live up to his tapes! Maybe it was an off night.

14. Hell yeah!
I saw the two of them once here in Milwaukee at the now-defunct-and-bulldozed-into-a-parking-lot Papagaio/Club New York (RIP) and then I saw him in '86 at Club Lingerie in LA. Great Stuff!

20. Yes - I do like Martha
And, I was "there". New Wave, Old Wave, Nuevo Romantico, ad infinitum. But it was a fun time for music, in spite of my far more serious tastes, even then. 'I Eat Cannibal' was the first thing that came to mind. Oh, and my all time favorite 'Beaver Cleaver Fever'. Oh, and 'Buffy Buffy come back to me-e, why'd you have to go and o'd-e'. And...drum roll...'Teenage Enema Nurses In Bondage'!!!

Oh, and the Vandals! And that wackjob woman with the weird name who always sounded like someone stomped on her spleen when she got emotional? Big gap in her teeth. Wore a mantilla in one of her videos?
