Update on the Dog beating yesterday
I contacted the county catcher.... it was city here yesterday and they did nothing. The county catcher went to talk to the woman and she was rude to him and told him more or less so. my word against hers. He told me that is one mean woman. Now get this, she wrote a threatening note and put it in our door, unsigned and told us we had better watch our backs, people like us disappear... can you believe that. Can you believe this. I called the police and they just left with the note. They are going to give it to the prosecutor in the morning. And I am going to call them tomorrow afternoon. I've had all I intend to take off those nuts.

The world is full of nutcases, and someone like THAT should be avoided like the plague ....

Let's hope that she is prosecuted .... at least her threats are now public record ...

9. They could always finger print the letter
to find out who wrote it.

Thanks for calling about the dog. I love dogs and people who beat them should be beaten in my opinion. I am sorry that your neighbor is such a wack-job. Good luck and I will be thinking of you.

11. You have to get a photo of the beatings. Keep your camera ready.
That's what I did when we had an abusive neighbor. Every time this guy (a fireman) would "discipline" his dog I would run out on the deck with my camera. I guess he got sick of me and he moved out. That's why I hate to live in "neighborhoods" and much prefer apt/condo living high off the ground. Neighbors??? Ugh - there is always one loud and/or animal abuser in the bunch

12. I'm going to second this
have your camera or video camera handy. Catch her in the act.

This woman doesn't need a dog, she needs a punching bag. Digusting. I don't understand how anyone can treat an animal like that.

20. I have my camera out now. I didn't have It handy at the time, so I pulled
back the blinds and beat on the wall and she just looked at me and went back to beating the dog. Can you believe that, That stick was at least 3 feet Long and huge!!! By the time I got out the door she was going in the house with it, not the dog the stick. The dog was just whimpering.

17. Huh the cops didn't do anything yesterday, what makes you
think they are gonna help that dog.The animal control officer is even afraid of her. The cops know them and cant do anything. It's like their hands are tied for some reason. He drinks and drives and has been picked up so many times for DWI he has no license for LIFE!!!!!He's gonna kill some one right out here on the road and know one gives a damn. It is a sad day when some one can beat a dog with a stick and she scares the cops. I am gonna be on the prosecutor until he does something

I agree about what someone said about taking pictures of the beatings and sending them to the police. People like this do not deserve to live.

23. As long as you have your camera handy......
get a few good shots of the husband driving the car without a license. They can impound the car and whoever has insurance on it will have their policy cancelled. Don't feel bad about it either. It was their decision to play hardball when they left that silly note.

Benz he's driving. I have seen him so drunk he couldn't walk but he can drive..... sometimes they get him, sometimes they don't. If they get him that is court fees, bail and the money to get the car oput of the impound lot. Plus he misses work and so does she. If I walked out with the camera he would just back up into the drive way and park it He's obviosly not gonna give it up. They need to throw him in jail and LEAVE HIM THERE
