How do you obtain a money order in Euros?
Or can I just send a Travellers Check?

1. ask for an International Money Order
at the post office and they'll ask you what country

3. Yes, my Japanese clients use them all the time
to pay me for small jobs that don't justify the expense of an electronic transfer. They buy them in Japan, but I can cash them at my bank just as if they were a U.S. money order.

They don't do International money orders for Ireland. Any suggestions?

it doesn't look like any European country accepts them you might have to go to a bank and get a cashier's check in euros

6. Can you get them in Euros?
I don't want to do a wire transfer, it is only for 6.98 Euros and the wire transfer would cost about twety-five bucks.

8. check with a multinational bank
they should have something are you sure that the person you want to send money to can't take a US check? I would think they could cash it at a multinational bank somewhere in Ireland

7. Don't they know that Ireland uses euros?
If they can make up money orders in euros at all, they should be able to do so for Ireland.
