Gannon on Maher tonight

2. It was ridiculously funny as hell

The guy could not look at the camera.

My guess is Guckert guessed at what Maher would ask him since Maher has no problems asking the questions that the media refuses to ask. So Guckert probably memorized about 5-6 canned responses and recited them to the question.

The reason I believe this is because first, Guckert never quite answered any questions but used bad cliches (example - Maher: How did you get over 200 day passes? Guckert: Hey, I'm just a guy who going to work everyday). But like a 5th grade student trying recite back the lines he memorized for his school's play - Guckert just sucked at reciting. He never looked at the camera but instead his eyes would roll up and to the side like he was looking at a bug on the ceiling.

I thought Maher could have been tougher on Guckert, but what Maher did was basically show Guckert to be the dimwitted asshole that he is.

he "Gannon" couldn't look at the camera - told Bill he would have asked Bush about border security and Bill said it wasn't his reputation to ask "tough questions".
