Taking Simba to the vet today
Edited on Sat Apr-30-05 08:40 AM by DeposeTheBoyKing
He's been barfing up everything he's eaten for the last two days, and I haven't seen him use the litter box in over a day. He hasn't barfed since late last night, but is pretty lethargic and depressed today. I hope nothing is seriously wrong with him. He's not responding normally to my query of "What do you want? Do you want some of those things?" (treats). He looks at me, but doesn't purr or make any effort to go to the kitchen. He's done this before and came around in a day or so, but he seems to be taking longer this time, and I don't want to take any chances. I don't want to make it sound dire if it's not, but that's the problem; I don't know WHAT it is! Some good vibes would be appreciated!

Edited to add picture of my little sweetheart:

2. Kitty hugs from DC, Pooky and Tootsie! Hope all will be well...
DC periodically has stress reactions (he is very old) and will not move from his perch in my chair. usually lasts for a couple of days, during which time he will not eat, is unresponsive to petting and in general does not even clean himself. Once, during a particularly bad episode, he hid under the chest of drawers and wouldn't even get up to go to the litter box. It was the first and only time I have ever seen a cat soil himself and not care. He is fine now.

7. Thanks, everyone
It's very frustrating because I have my last exam of law school Monday morning, and I should be studying, but I just can't concentrate because I'm worrying about my little friend. I HATE it when my cats are sick!!
