I just choked on some popcorn and my cat went nuts!
This is my dumbell ten year old cat who shits outside of her litter box and the cat we have talked about getting rid of because she just doesn't get it...
She just went nuts when I choked and came running up to me and yelled at the top of her voice (I think trying to get my husband to hear her) and "patrolled around me" until I finally convinced her that I was o.k. ... which wasn't easy because I really couldn't catch my breath for a long time!
Eight years ago when my mom died I was despondent and she continually bumped into me until she broke me out of my depression and got me laughing. But she has been a total moron until tonight when she reminded me of how much she cares about us.
Anyway, long story, but I guess I will have to figure out some other solution to her "potty problem".

2. Does she share a litterbox?
You may want to get her own for her if she does. She sounds like a sensitive kitty. They're amazing, aren't they? they're so in touch with their human's feelings.

6. No, we had to put our other cat down two months ago
because he had kitty cancer, but she was leaving "presents" in the corner months before that. Or maybe even longer, but we were both kind of in a ignore pattern because we didn't want to deal with both things so we just cleaned up her mess.

3. She loves you, yeah yeah yeah!
Glad you're okay! As far as the litter box problem, maybe you should put doggy weewee pads (found at pet stores and grocery stores) around the house. My late Fergus developed that habit late in his life, and he'd go to these pads and do his business. Saved a lot of carpet and frustration that way!

8. They have pheromones in them that attract dogs
But they worked for my kitty, too. Good luck - I know how frustrating that problem is! But pee is worse - is she doing that too?

10. No, she seems to be content peeing in the litter box,
but she will leave turds all over the place which just endears her to my hubby who is always the first to step on them in the morning! And then I hear him yelling, "YOUR &%^$#@+#! CAT has shit on the floor again!"

4. And to think,
when Bush choked on the pretzel, his dogs reportedly sat there and watched.

12. Well, considering he dropped at least one
of them on it's head in an attempt to make himself appear smarter, I don't blame the dogs. They were probably hoping like I would have been had I gotten to enjoy that incident in person. I'm not normally a mean person, but Bush brings out the worst in me. He makes me feel all sorts of vindictive.

9. Oh man, she was hysterical, meowing and yelling...
I was scared shitless, inhaling nothing but dry popcorn kernels and coughing to try to purchase some air...and way in the distance I could hear my husband gently snoring in his bed. Well, don't worry, we will kick his ass at daybreak!! (just kidding...)

11. Cats do express love in their own way and
it sounds like she loves you. Does she start in the box and get a clingon or does she go elsewhere entirely? I was wondering, because I have a cat that starts in the box, but apparently eats my hair (the US Air Force could transport stealth bombers if they used a strand of my hair to dangle them underneath another plane). Speaking of dangling underneath, I need to get back on topic here. My cat sometimes has a clingon and runs around like mad until it finally comes off. It only happens every once in a while, but when it does, I'll find a little tiny piece of shit attached to a leash made out of my hair. I've begun to question the secret life my hair is living exactly and why it hangs out with shit...on it... once it leaves my head. :P

Seriously though, you should be proud that the cat loves you so much. That's the ultimate compliment.
