Favorite every-day Hot Sauce?
What's your favorite, every day hot sauce? And I'm not talking about stuff like Pure Cap, unless you put that shit on your omelettes every AM.

I'm talking about your "go to" hot sauce that you put on most every savoury dish.

For me, I enjoy Dave's Hurtin Habenero and Dave's Scotch Bonnet sauces. The Hurtin Habanero has a nice smokey flavor while the Scothc Bonnet is nice and fruity.

27. Tabasco and Eggs
Nothing better on eggs, IMO.

I do like the Chipotle Tabasco, too.

My favorite all around sauce would have to be Melinda's 4X. Nice subtle taste of carrots underneath the heat.

3. Tabasco
Love this stuff. There are times when a little less is in order and other times when you need to empty half the bottle. But it ALWAYS does the job.

23. You may want to visit Avery Island Louisiana
The Tabasco Pepper Sauce Factory is like Disney World for Tabasco Afficiandos. www.tabasco.com. A very fun, educational and beautiful place. Just a couple hours west of New Orleans.

36. My in-laws visited one year
They are from Houston, so it was a relatively short trip for them.

They LOVED it. I think my father-in-law (who passed away soon after) thought it was one of the trips of his life.

22. Sriracha - Bingo!

An excellent all round heat source for people that don't like Tabasco's 'Vinegar w/ Chilies' taste.

6. I actually picked up some Hurtin Habenero yesterday
It didn't actually hurt very much, but it was quite tasty. Tabasco (regular and habenero varieties) is my everyday brand, however.

I like Dave's Insanity Sauce for special occasions too.

13. Try the Scotch Bonnet
It's about the same hotness of Hurtin Habanero, but more on the fruity (vs smokey) side.

I like Frank's, but then I also have a great local one that's made from peaches & has habanero in it. I can't remember the brand. It's good. And HOT. :9

Good, hot and tasty. Made in the Big Easy. I use it liberally on damn near everything. Research indicates that hot sauce is a cancer fighting agent.

My all time favorite. Smoky, chunky, pieces of carrot, onion, roasted peppers - made in boulder, Co. and he will sell it in quarts. Out of my probably 20 different hot sauces this is the only one that stays out on the table.
