I'm drinking decaf from a mug my very first boyfriend gave to me.
It says, "Our friendship is one of the most important things in my life."

Who besides me thinks I should have been smart enough to catch on that he was getting ready to dump me? :)

2. Well, if I'd married him, I'd be the wife of a fundy youth pastor.
Whew!

I had a lot of shit to work through, so it's just as well I haven't married. Maybe someday.

My ex-wife threw away everything my first girlfriend ever gave me, including a box of photos. I have one remaining picture of her.
