Boy-o-boy I'm bored

1. I only had to work for 1 hour tonight

I'm a truck driver and the run that I usually do was cancelled. I just had to make a local delivery and then I went home. I'm now slugging back some brewskies and enjoying the company of my fellow DUers while listening to Muse. Oops......sorry.

The person who usually works the door at the club I DJ at couldn't make it, so apparently I'm an awesome subsitute :P

Meh, shouldn't be too bad... sitting around sipping on free drinks checking ID's and talking with my friends that show up...

I was there about 12 years ago and I couldn't find any place cool or alternative to hang out. I tried, but perhaps looking downtown was wrong.

I was only there for two days for business anyway, not much time to look.

And the worst, actually wasn't at the bar.
My sister tried to 'borrow' my ID before she turned 18.


The only thing we have in common, physically, is height.
She's skinny, I'm fat
She has light brown long hair, I have short dark hair
She has perfect vision, I have glasses
She has no piercings, I have visable facial piercings
She has perfect skin, I dont
Her face is oval, mine is round

13. It was much easier in the old days to get into bars

When I was a youngin', drivers licenses didn't have pictures. I would 'borrow' my friend's sister's drivers license to get into bars.

Just had to make sure you memorized the 'borrowed' ids birthdate. That's how the door person would try to catch you.

Here's a funny underage drinking story:

My little sister was at a bar the night before her 18th birthday. She'd gotten in even though she was underage. Anyway, she's gets a little drunk and goes up the bar and orders a beer and tells the bartender she's celebrating because she turns 18 tomorrow.

Ooops...wrong thing to say! She's such a spaz sometimes.

(This was when you could drink beer in Kansas if you were 18. Gosh, I'm so old!)
