George Noory of Coast to Coast fame just said "I'm not a partisan, but it is BEYOND COINCIDENCE how many Democrats die in plane crashes." He was doing an interview with Nick Begich whose father died in the same plane crash that killed Cokie Robert's father Sen. Boggs, it happened about two weeks before Watergate broke. :scared:

Did anyone else hear that?

There was the commerce secretary during Clinton's administration, Senator Boggs, the governor of Missouri running for the Senate, and Paul Wellstone. What gives?

3. DO you notice a trend?

In the 60's it was bullets....but now, they are just unlucky flying in airplanes. I wonder how many have to die before coincidence becomes conspiracy?

Boggs, Begich, RFK, JR., Wellstone (and his wife),the Missouri Senator (sorry, can't think of his name)....I wonder about Ted Kennedy's plane crash, too.

5. I had a Capt. from TWA fly into Ak to see one of his kids

Who was living with me and he said his hair stood on end it was such a bad place to come into. Anchorage? Their are a lot of planes in the state and up in all weather.I used to hear them when I sure could not see them. I am talking about the small ones which were every place.Besides that I bet alot have been killed in cars. These people just fly alot.I do not think the small planes and who flys them are checked out to well either. By the way Sen. Steven wife was killed in a plane crash but he lived to tell about it.

6. Small planes crash and kill people

far more often than most people realize. Even in a bad year for commercial aviation crashes, more people die in general aviation accidents than in commercial crashes. But they happen to one, two, maybe six people at a time, so unless someone prominent dies, we don't hear much about them.

In a similar manner, about 40,000 people die every year in car crashes, again, one, two, maybe five at a time. Occasionally someone prominent dies in a car crash (Princess Diana comes to mind), but since we all ride in cars, we accept the deaths as a necessary evil. Most of us don't fly in small aircraft, but those who do (and I have several friends who are general aviation pilots) tend to accept the death rate as a necessary evil.
