Say something nice about me please. It has been a hard year (and a little more) since Jan '04, but things are definitely looking up now. Things I have noticed...I am much calmer than I used to be. That is good. My metabolism seems to be going through a change; it's slower. That is bad. However, I am pretty content, and in much better shape, physically, mentally and economically than many and for that I am thankful. Still, I wouldn't mind winning the Lotto. ;)

12. I run about 20-25 miles a week

but my metabolism seems to be slowing to a point where I am going to have to watch what I eat. Well, actually, the amounts. I have always eaten well, but it's my portions. Perhaps with less food more exercise I will jumpstart the metabolism.

I needed to hear that now that my waistline is growing and chiseled jaw is fading. And really, none of that really matters as long as my family adores me as I do them, right?

It's funny, my wife said to today that I am a typical "metrosexual." I asked her what she might by that and she said, "You know, you keep fit; you dress well; you're straight, but look gay." Whaaaaaaaaaatttttttttttttt? I look gay? I'm pretty secure in my manhood so I am not too upset about the comment. It is just not something you'd expect your spouse to say.

She tried to explain herself out of it by saying that most gay men are hot and I am too, blah, blah, blah. I think I should take it as a compliment, but all my gay friends are just laughing at that comment.

30. Yeah, since Jan of last year it has been rough

but again, things are looking up for me. I feel better. I am up for a promotion at work. My wife may get a job much closer to home. I just wish my front yard didn't have so many weeds! I think I am going to buy myself a Digital SLR camera and take up photography. It is something I have always wanted to do.
