Two weeks from tomorrow will be my very last day at work! Early retirement, here I come! And in the spring too: my very favorite time of year...This is a good double whammy...

5. What's the use? In six months it will be autumn again.

And, it will be just as cold as it is right now. And, Junior will still be in the White House. And, more solidiers will continue to die in Iraq. The economy will be worse off, too.

So, why pretend to be happy?

6. Pretense doesn't cut it! Of course the seasons turn, and yes, * will

still be in the WH, more soldiers will die and the economy will continue to unravel...We might be able to do something about some of those things, but...the important thing is that we do have control of ourselves. And we can decide to be morose, or to be happy...I choose to see the beauty around me and to enjoy my life...and I don't have to pretend to do that.
