A reason (maybe) why Bush shouldn't be impeached--Our NIGHTMARE TICKET
Edited on Fri Jul-18-03 11:41 PM by leftyandproud
Someone posted a nightmare ticket for the pukes--a Hillary/Gore combo...I was thinking. What if we do get rid of Bush? They will obviously be desperate to hold on to power...and I'm afraid they may do it.

2004 Bushless GOP ticket:

Powell/Giulliani

Pardon my french...but we'd be F*CKED!!!

So should we still impeach Dumbya? I think if we let the American people decide, he will be dumped anyway in 04'...but if we impeach him, I'm afraid the pukes can win with the above ticket--overwhelming 80%+ popularity for both of them...

thoughts?

1. Impeachment is such a remote possibility at this point
that there's not much point in expending mental energy on such hypothetical scenarios

2. I agree - there will be no impeachment
the repuke congress would never let it happen. Frankly, * getting voted out would probably be better anyway.

The next year is going to be interesting. Let's hope * twists in the wind and somebody like Dean takes America back.

3. First, I don't think Powell will be looking all that good
after his involvement with the Lies of Empire.

Second, I don't think impeachment would be a realistic outcome, at least with the present Congress. Only if Bush got himself re-elected along with a Democratic recapture of Congress & then further stuff came out during his 2d admin would impeachment be remotely likely.

I think the best thing is just to let his self-crippled, crooked and pathetic little advednture play itself out to an ignominious close in 2004.

4. As long as PNAC isn't involved
I'd vote for anybody honest. And there are honest people. It's just that most people try to kill them in small airplanes.

6. I think..
PNAC will ALWAYS be involved...behind the scenes...not as obvious as with this administration. They are the ultimate puppetmasters of the GOP.

5. impeachment would turn many moderates off from the party
in a presidential election. Just look at 2000. Many moderates who did not like MonicaGate felt Gore was more of the same. The fact that this country is 50/50 (basically) between the two parties, it would be hard for any repub. to get elected

8. The Republican base would not vote for an African-American
Many would sit out the election, IMHO. And I wouldn't worry about impeachment. That seems to be a tool that is never used for what it was designed for.
