How do you feel about perfume and cologne?
Do you like scents like these? Or, do you object because of allergies and other reasons?

Personally, I love perfume and cologne as long as it's not "over-done". Joy is my favourite scent. And, I love the scent of gardenias, too. Aaahhh. :-)

What about you? Let us know what you think.

:D

:hi:

1. If it's very mild, and very light I love it..

Overly strong, flowery perfume makes me feel ill. Real flowers smell nice, concentrated flower essence shoved up my nose against my will is just wrong. Go easy on it ladies. :)

2. I like fresh, clean scents
in moderation.

Can't stand when a person's perfume or cologne enters a room before them & lingers long after they have left.

3.  I love it went and bought myself a bottle today
I always want to try something new but cant find something that
smells good on me other than my favorite which is Sung by Alfred Sung.
Most of them seem so strong and I hate it when you leave a trail.

4. Both.
I love a TINY bit of cologne, on either myself or others, but too many people apparently think they need to douse themselves in it. And that triggers my asthma.

My late Mother insisted on smelling good as well as looking good. I can still smell her (Esté Lauder Youth Dew) everywhere. After she passed, the first thing her last living sibling said when he walked into her house was it smells like Elsie. She as been gone since June but it still smells like her. I love that smell.

Fragrances are important in life.

6. I have allergies so I am sensitive
that said, I love light flowery scents like gardenia. My favorite scent of all is vanilla.

I can't stand most men's colognes, they are too strong and most trigger an asthma attack.

7. I have always hated cologne and perfume
Edited on Tue Apr-12-05 01:29 AM by Jamastiene
until recently. I smelled "Happy" by Clinique and haven't been the same since. Now, if someone isn't bathed in perfume or cologne, and it smells pretty nice, I may compliment them on it from time to time. I do still hate it when someone at a mall accosts you with it though. And I do hate the magazine pullouts that make the magazine too overpowering to hold long enough to read.

8. I like it
I like to wear Pleasures, Romance and Dolce & Gabbana. I only do a couple of squirts, so it's mostly for me..and if someone gets close.

I hate it when you can smell someone 5 feet away and when they finally leave the smell is still overpowering.

9. I hate that crap, seriously
It all stinks of chemicals. I especially hate when people over a certain age think they need to marinate themselves and practically leave chemtrails on public transportation/other small, enclosed spaces. It's one of my pet peeves in life.

I wear essential oils, in moderation. They just smell better to me, and I can blend them in a zillion different ways if I happen to get bored with a particular scent.

10. I wear them every day.
Just in very small doses, though. I don't like the "drenched" smell.

11. DI love those perfume samplers in magazines!!!!`
And I like cologne, etc...as long as it's not trying to cover up for some severe smell. I am a smoker, so it's kindof harder for me to tell if someone is like dying or something....

Some of my faves would be....for women: L'air du temps, Glamourous by Ralph Lauren, Giorgio, if your'e into really knocking everyone out on a hot summer day,,,Ck! for boys and girls....and then for men (and women...) Geoffry Beene bowling green??... I am having a hard time concentrating since I am listening to like fred durst thru one speaker...oh well...

Chloe..there's more, but i've forgotten them, sorry...

xxxxoooo

13. I feel about them both very carefully
as I would hate to spill one and have the whole room reeking for hours.

Other than that, there's some I like (love patchouli oil), but one I absolutely cannot stand.

I have yet to work up the courage to ask any women I've smelled wearing it what it is, so I don't know what I'm hating by it's name, but to me it smells as if they were wearing RAID. :puke:
