I don't want to be at work today
The boss didn't come in, so I'm here all by myself, with not a whole lot to do. If I were not here, I could go to the mall and get them to take the security tag off the pants I bought last week. I could get my nails done. I could go to the store and pick up tomatoes and lettuce for the tacos we'll have for supper tonight.

I could even take a nice nap with the kitties this afternoon.

So... why am I here?

1. Good question, take the afternoon off
Sleeping with Kitties has to have it's priorities.

2. Sympathies
It's been a long day thus far, but less than an hour to go for me.

I don't even seem to have done much work either.

3. Not working is overrated
I know because I haven't for the past three months.

Enjoy your wage slavery

5. Very true.
We were a double lay off in our house for over 2 years. My husband just got good work, and now I don't have to get a job. Fortunately, there is political volunteer work to be done around here right now, but that doesn't fill my time, and somehow you just don't do all of that other stuff that you think you would do if it weren't for your job, when you have a job.

4. Leave a little early today
I give my permission! After last nights David Wells debacle (only 1 game but still it was bad!)you have a right to lay with the kitties and nap.
