2. Simple Things...
Is one of my all time favorite albums. I just have one problem with it though...the song "Destiny" could have been one of the greatest songs ever performed had they chosen a different lead singer for it. What on earth were they thinking? She is about as soulful as Pat Boone.

"In The Waiting Line" is simply brilliant.

3. I disagree
I think her singing is just fine.

The way she moans that song is perfect.

The harmony gives me goosebumps.

It's great just the way it is.

4. The harmony is excellent...
But I'm talking about when she tries to sing soulfully. There is one part in particular that she sounds like someone is choking her. They should have just asked her to sing in her normal voice, which she does on the other songs she contributes to on the CD.

8. Ah...I found it...
Listen long drawn out caterwauling that starts at 3:15 where the lead singer tries to "rice up" soulfully the word "destiny".

Seriously though, this is my one and only criticism of this album. It has a special place in my record collection. I just cringe every time I hear this particular part of it.

6. You might also like...
Massive Attack - Mezzanine

"Angel" and "Teardrop" are reminiscent of Zero 7. Well, "Teardrop" is, "Angel" sort of has a more rock oriented feel.

7. Check those Amazon reviews
After listening to this CD for the last two years straight, there's no surprise why its received so many positive reviews.

It's in my car's CD player right now
