33. That's funny-- the first time I heard it was from a Cheesehead
...and I'm from Minnesota. I don't here it used here at all, unless you're talking to somebody from New England or Wisconsin. Weird.

7. It's aquarium equipment, isn't it?
The little thingy you hook up to make decorative bubbles rise from the bottom of the tank. I also have an attachment for my garden hose called a bubbler. It's designed to make the water flow gently onto newly planted or delicate plants.

8. What's odd about that ...
is that the only places I've known that use the word are Michigan, Wisconsin and Massachusetts. I can see the first two, but there's some space in between.

I'll have none of this about "bubblers". What happens when you sit in a bathtub is not to be repeated here!

18. I know what one is but it is regional.
I lived in WI until I was a teenager (between there and the UP). I moved to MO as a teen. They don't call it that here.

but prior to meeting her, I - like everyone else in the non-North Central - assumed that a bubbler was simply a waterpipe for schmooking the herb.

If so, then yes. If not, I have no idea what your talking about. :whistles while slowly backing out of thread; seemingly over interested in tracing out the structural integrity of the ceiling joists with pointed finger:

34. It's a type of sprinkler head
as used in landscaping irrigation systems. It's a low-flow head placed at or near the root system of a plant so the plant gets a nice concentrated drink of water.
