1. I do listen to it every week....
but I am no good at puzzles... I like to listen to Harry Shearer who comes on right after that.....

4. Not his forte, but his crosswords kick ass
Shortz has been editing the NYT crosswords for some time now, and they've gotten a lot better. The clues are much "hipper", and have more to do with life today than some archaic word for dishtowel.

Shortz has it going on in the crossward dept. He only does the Morning Edition bit to promote his "day job", IMHO.

I like to play along. he used to do GREAT crossword puzzles in "Games" magazine.
