3. I went through a phase of 64 defeats against a ranked Master
and I learned a lot and began to tie him and eventually won a couple too.

4. I just like to play the game, I really don't follow the World Rankings.
And while I hate Bobby Fischer's political views I admire his command of the game in the past decades.

5. I won a high school state championship my sophomore year
and a couple of other tournaments, but I basically quit the next year.

I still play occasionally, but I'm not up to the level I was then.

7. I enjoy playing anybody

The funny thing is that any average Joe I beat, but on the small chance I run into anybody who still plays professionally, they'll probably kill me.

I played some guy like that on an boat casino. On the way in you can't gamble, so they guy packed a chess board with him. He beat me two games to one (I was drinking a lot though...lol, but maybe he was, too).
