A prom dress for our times
If you are a freeper-lunatic

text & pic from

www.uglydress.com
Are you in a competition at school to see who has the most SPIRIT!!!!!!!! (that was 8 exclamation points and no question mark).

If you have more spirit than anyone why not show spirit for your country at prom? You can be the Prom Patriot. Yay. :)

Prom Patriots are very popular. Prom Patriots get everything they could ever want. If you dress up like the Prom Patriot everyone will like you, you will get into the college of your choice, your acne will clear up, your boobs will get bigger, the Prom King will kiss you behind the coke machine, and you will even have a baby.

I wish I had been a Prom Patriot but alas, back in 1987 we hadn't thought of the idea yet. Too bad. I wish I had a baby.

13. Whoah -- has that guy got a flag-patterned codpiece?
(...turning up the screen brightness...)

No, wait -- it's a fannypack.

:eyes:

Maybe he didn't get enough attention as a child...

Edited on Sat Mar-19-05 09:08 AM by HypnoToad
I like her!

And I'm a flaming fag!

But look at his fanny pack. Is his package so small he needs to hide it with yet another flag?

18. The man in that picture needs a lesson from the U.S. Code Title 4 Sec 8(d)
Section 8. Respect for flag

No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America . . .

(d) The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery.

31. I thought it was on her suspender-belt
But there was certainly one of them 'down there'.

Apparently it was a great success in either France or Germany (I forget which), but very unpopular in the other.

33. our local PBS is running it currently but the last time they did
we taped as many episodes as we could...because there was like a 7 year gap between the previous time it was run. Of course now DVD is available, and is a possibility for us.

That show just makes me howl!!!!!!!!1

"Listen very carefully, I shall say this only ONCE!"

11. the skirt and shawl. . .
appear to have a certain texture and flow. . .it's as though they were cut from a bloody hot air balloon.

The bird's nest hairdo is always a plus as well.

Yeah she should definitely enlist 'cause she's completely bereft of all fashion sense.

Yikes.

15. An analysis of the dress, a historal look:
But first: She looks like she's got a rather nasty smell under her nose. Pompous debutante not-in-tune-with-reality twit unfit to be used even as dog food.

And now for the tacky dress, which looks like the creator, high on crack AND sudafed-meth, re-imaged Wonder Woman's costume. :eyes:

Oh man, those pits are gross!

20. I love that costume.
I'm not much for tacky, outlandish costumes, but god, I love that one. That show was a fantasy refuge for me when I was a kid. And the costume was PERFECT for the 70s -- you gotta admit that much. :)

And I always dug Wonder Woman. Mostly for the storylines, but I was 9 at the time. I saw a few a couple years' back on sci-fi channel; definitely kids' stuff, but enjoyable camp.
