Before our two younger kids came along, my husband and I used to shoot in a Tuesday night cricket league.

We've had a loose-knit dart association (the Bombers) off and on since 1985. It's been out of commission for ten years or so, so now that I own this house (where the family has lived since 1961), I thought we'd all get it going again.

Dart leagues don't seem to be as popular here (Idaho) as they were back home (Minnesota).

I came in to keep tabs on the Clark group and got hooked. This sh*t is addictive! I figure I've got about a month or two before I've alienated everybody here.

Laura sends her love. I really want to get up there this year, but my boss is already making noises about a conference in Portland that weekend. I may have to bail on him for once...

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to seeing you all--I've missed you an awful lot. I'll bring my steel tips with me--it's been way too long since I've thrown any darts--and we'll throw a few rounds.
