I'm sick. I'm a gun owner and my daughter (10) has never even SEEN our guns. Never. I'm not sure she even knows we own them, but we have talked to her about gun safety.

(NEVER touch them, ALWAYS assume they are loaded, if a kid is playing with one, LEAVE and tell an adult.)
