Well, not this one anyway.

I'm open to wooing.

Just so this isn't a blind date, cause who likes those, a little info about me:

I'm in my 30's
I'm more abstract/random than concrete sequential
I like to be spontaneous
People say that I'm a good cook
I know how to fly
I'm very laid back and love to laugh

I wish I was mysterious. Women like that, IMHO. If there were ten men you didn't know standing on a corner, and you needed directions, I'd be the one you addressed. It happens at work all the time. I asked someone once why they asked me instead of someone else, because physically I don't look meek, and they said because I gave off an air of approachability. Whatever that entails. I guess it means I'm....safe. Ack...I've said it, the kiss of death. Women like the bad boy.

Got to hit the bed, it's 3:00am, and a cat needs my attention.

56. OK. A bit of background. I might as well compete.
Physique: I am tall and thin. I run daily and stay reasonably fit but I am not weird about it. Ultimately, the body is just something to carry your brain around in.

Personality: I am an individual who enjoys debate, spirited conversation, learning things new and old, absorbing information, spontaneous road trips, finding the odd, seeing the banal from different angles, and generally trying to shove as much as possible into the short sliver of time I have here. I love satire and am almost always amused by what is going on around me. I like art of all kinds (but being a 20th Century American, I am drawn to my own cultural references). I am open, unassuming, and do not like deception or manipulation. I can have fun participating in most any activity .... except karaoke.

My idea of the perfect Sunday is to hit the book store or the Modern, then head to a pub where hopefully there is some sort of sporting event playing in the background and the place is full of people who care about the outcome (I won't, not really a sports fan, but I just find the shared hopes and enthusiasm of total strangers really neat).

68. I would not fight over a paper. Seems a bit silly
As far as finding quirks in the world, road trips are the best for that. Every town, it seems, no matter how obscure (so far out in the middle of nowhere you think it's a watermark for Rand McNally to ensure no one copies their copywrited product), has some claim to fame or something they are proud of from Foreman, Arkansas being the home of Tracy Lawrence to Delphos, Kansas being the home of the little girl that convinced Abraham Lincoln to shave his beard.

I haven't noticed crosses where everyone got snuffed out on the highway in other places. Maybe Montana just has really bad roads.

It is big sky country. It's kind of like the ocean - it helps you put things in perspective.

48. Hey there...how YOU doin'?
I'm in my 30's
I suppose I'm mostly Abstract Sequential, except I have a bit of a creative streak, and I am so independent that I go out of my way to defy tradition.
I try to be spontaneous sometimes, but it almost always turns out badly.
I can't cook at all.
Some people say I'm a good singer, except I only know heavy metal songs.
I'm so laid back that I'm a chronic underachiever.

In short - I'm a real catch.

62. At least every day
Edited on Sun Feb-20-05 02:16 AM by Philosophy
I really don't have much of a life lately.

This is a fun place to just chill out. And the music is pretty good too.

Can I buy you a drink?

Gimme a double shot of tequilla, and one Caesar for my lady friend here...with your finest vodka.

87. Nope, I'm like a thousand miles from Canada
I thought a Caesar was a drink kind of like a Bloody Mary. Do they only have them in Canada?

88. It is kind of like a Bloody Mary except that it has Clamato Juice
instead of tomato juice. They were invented in Canada and are hugely popular here. You can't get them in many places in the States.

Must have heard of it somewhere though.

So, how is it? Can I have a sip?

91. Good night
Unfortunately I have to get to bed now - gotta get up and go to work tomorrow to finish up a project I am a little behind on.

It was nice talking to you. We should do this again sometime.

Good night...

74. Miami is a fast-paced city
And if you're here from Vancouver, it's likely you will quickly fall into that mentality.

West Coast laid backness is pretty deeply ingrained.

It's not that I don't get hyper, but I do like to smell the roses.
