1. Do you have older pipes?
Sorry if you posted more about this earlier. I must have missed it.

We had older steel (I think) pipes. Once we replaced the old plumbing, we have great water pressure.

3. I lost pressure to my toilet last weekend.
I ended up having to blow out the line using my air compressor. I am on a well and some sediment had built up in the line.

8. Should get a whole-house filter.
Solves that problem.

I had a similar problem with my washing machine last year. Pulled the cold water line and it was full of gunk.

4. This is gonna sound like I'm being an ass but I'm not, so here it goes
Have you opened the angle stop under the sink ALL THE WAY?

I ask because I have this uh, friend, yeah a friend, not me, a friend, that spent 2 years with weak hot water output in his bathroom sink after having some pipes replaced only to discover that the angle stop was only PARTIALLY cranked open. I was pi..., I mean my friend could have screamed for weeks upon THAT discovery.

9. If you changed the faucet you had to reach under the sink and turn

off the water so it wouldn't come spurting out when you removed the faucet. They look like two garden hose handles but smaller and are usually oval or football shaped. Of course it's also possible that depending on the age of the house you don't have angle stops and instead had to turn the water off at the street. In any case if THAT wasn't turned back on fully you would have pressure problems EVERYWHERE, not just at a single sink.

11. No. The prior owner had upgraded the line from the street to the house to
copper but left the old glavanized pipes. We relocated the washer/dryer and that was done in copper so we now have a mixture of old and new with a new service line. Pressure's fine now. I mean at my friends house of course.

15. And there is more or less pressure than the old faucet?
Can you remove the new faucet and using a bucket to catch the water open the angle stops to make sure water is flowing at that point?

If it is then the problem is between the angle stops and the faucet, if not the problem is back down the lines somewhere.
